Philip Gorman

With over 40 years of experience in the insurance and underwriting sectors, Philip has developed extensive expertise in property insurance, underwriting, and team leadership.

Beginning his career in commercial property underwriting, Philip has worked with prestigious firms such as Prudential Assurance, Hiscox, Towergate Underwriting Commercial Property and European Property Underwriting Limited.  His trajectory includes significant roles where he contributed to pioneering initiatives, culminating in his role as Associate Director.  At Camberford Underwriting, Philip played a key role in managing and running off the EPUL Property Owners book across the UK and Europe, whilst overseeing the seamless transfer of the UK element of the business to Camberford.  

Philip brings deep technical knowledge in property underwriting. His expertise is complemented by his strategic approach to identifying growth opportunities, monitoring market trends, and ensuring that every account aligns with the broader business objectives.
