Gary Powis, Bsc (Hons) PGDip MRICS

Gary has over 29 years of experience advising and valuing a wide range of residential and commercial property, focusing on development sites/properties for Registered Providers, public bodies, companies, banks, and private individuals covering Greater London the surrounding Home Counties.

He is head of the Valuation and Advisory Services department which includes residential and commercial Property Valuations, Development Consultancy, Affordable Housing Valuations, Leasehold Enfranchisement and Lease Advisory. As a Chartered Surveyor & Registered Valuer, his advice ranges from RICS Red Book Valuations or Expert Witness Reports to more informal work.

His specialist focus is leading the Development Consultancy team, which undertakes work within the development sector, including site appraisals/valuations across all private and affordable tenure housing and commercial premises, advice for negotiations on property/land acquisition, town planning matters and pre-sales advice prior to marketing and agency.

The team are on a number of Valuation Frameworks, including Peabody Group, Notting Hill Genesis, Newlon Housing Trust, Network Homes, Clarion, One Housing and L&Q.

Gary has built up an extensive network of clients, having worked with a full range of public and private sector bodies. He has built up a team around him, with a focus on work for Registered Providers (Housing Associations) where the team act for over 20 organisations, ranging from more prominent organisations to smaller ones, and provide advice and valuations from the start to the finish of the development process of site acquisition until the sale of the completed units.
